Piektdien, 21. septembrī, finanšu ministre Dana Reizniece-Ozola kopā ar Latvijas Viesnīcu un restorānu asociācijas (LVRA) prezidentu Jāni Pinni un Latvijas restorānu biedrības (LRB) prezidentu Jāni Jenzi parakstīja vienošanos starp Finanšu ministriju (FM) un viesmīlības nozares pārstāvjiem, nosakot mērķus un uzdevumus turpmākajai sadarbībai.

LVRA un LRB šīs vienošanās noteikto mērķu sasniegšanai apņemas noslēgt viesmīlības nozares ģenerālvienošanos. Savukārt Finanšu ministrija savas kompetences ietvaros apņemas veikt darbības, lai ieviestu samazināto pievienotās vērtības nodokļa (PVN) likmi sabiedriskās ēdināšanas pakalpojumiem, ja viesmīlības nozares uzņēmumi noslēdz nozares ģenerālvienošanos ar būtisku, reālajai tirgus situācijai atbilstošu vidējās algas pieaugumu.
